Guitar Rest Empty
PostSubject: Guitar Rest   Guitar Rest EmptyWed Jun 02, 2010 9:01 am

Wanted to do this for a while as i've needed somewhere to do all the little odd jobs on guitars. Setting up, wiring, restringing etc etc.
So managed to put this together today Smile

Made out of a sheet of chipboard with a section of 2x2 at the one end. Used a guitar hanger for the neck which can swivel so it can be placed at any angle on the board. Its covered with some floor underlay which i had left over after we had our bathroom redone. Its soft so won't mark the guitar when its on it. I've doubled it up at the one end just to make sure.
Easy to make and i'm sure its going to come in very handy.

Not the neatest of things but hey it does the job Smile

I usually just lay a couple of swimming towels on the table and then put a folded-over towel under then neck. People complain about the little bits of solder on it, but my guitars are more important than their drying comfort!
