Hi, My name is Ken.I have just joined Guitar Project Uk. The reason being is that my son playes guitar and he has asked me to build him a 12 string guitar.I am reasonably confident(totally years ago retirement age now looming). I have the skills required for such a project as I am a French polisher and furniture restorer by trade. However I am having difficulty sourcing plans.I have come across one book by Irving Sloane, Steel String Guitar Construction, which covers 12 string.Has any one any knowledge of this book, or any knowledge/ advice on the subject. Many thanks.

Hi Ken,
welcome to the forum.

Can't say i've read the book although i have heard about it.
There are a couple of websites about selling guitar plans,
There will be a few tutorials popping up over the next couple of weeks for solid body guitar building, although i presume your building an acoustic?

Tom.
