I'm almost through my first build. I used Brazillian Mahogany and paid a bit for it.
Can you recommend another wood that will give me a great sound and that is nice to work on. Doesn't crack, sands easily etc.
I know people like to use bass wood... anyone here got any experience with it?
I've got EMG active pick ups to go in it. Want to build something for metal ("In Flames" sound)
Can you recommend wood for the type of sound I'm after?
