| hi there my name is john and i recently joined the site i have never built a guitar before but i am furniture restorer and been involved in many cabinet making projects so im hoping i have most of the skills involved i can play the bass but not very good so i am wanting to build a bass the guitar i want to build is a copy of a aria sb 1000 probably not the easiest im sure but im not in a rush i have got some english oak that came out of a medievel building about twenty five years ago its highly figured with plenty of burr figuring and was wondering if this would be ok for the body pieces your opinion would be helpful thanks john | |
